Jung SuWon Kids Club Warriors

Here is a Connect the Dots Puzzle and Experiment !!!

  1. Connect the Dots to discover the Jung SuWon Warrior.
  2. Visualize that you are this Jung SuWon warrior.  Color in the picture, the uniform, the belt.  Add a face and other features to your warrior.

Let’s do an experiment every day for 1 week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday).  Start on Monday after school.  Practice the technique in your finished drawing:

  • White Belt & Yellow Belt: 10 times each side
  • Orange belt & Green Belt: 20 times each side
  • Purple belt & Blue Belt:  30 times each side
  • Brown belt & Red Belt:  40 times each side
  • Black Belt: 50 times each side

Do you notice a difference in your Jung SuWon techniques on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday?  Is the technique in your experiment easy?  Is it hard to hold your balance?

Please send your comments and what you learned during your 1 week experiment.  Your comments will be forwarded to Great Grandmaster Dr. Tae Yun Kim.

#13 Heal Dry Skin With Lemons!

November 1, 2008

Great Grandmaster Dr. Tae Yun Kim’s Lemon Recipe Heals Dry Skin!

Part of a Jung SuWon warrior’s training is to learn about recipes that are made out of natural elements to improve your health or wellbeing.  In this blog, I am sharing with you one of Great Grandmaster Dr. Tae Yun Kim’s natural healing recipes.  A natural way to heal and soften dry skin is with lemons.

  1. If you have a lemon tree in your yard, go pick one lemon.  Look for firm lemons that have a glossy, bright yellow color.  The skin should also have a fine-graded appearance, and feel heavy for its size.  If you don’t have a lemon tree in your yard, purchase a lemon at the grocery store.

Peel the lemon so that when you are finished the lemon rind is in one piece.  (It is ok if your lemon peel breaks into several pieces.  With practice, you will learn how to peel the lemon and end up with one long spiral lemon rind.)

When your lemon is completely peeled, open the lemon into the small sections.  Gently separate the fruit along the natural divisions.

Put 1 lemon section into your hand.  Squeeze the lemon section so that the juice comes out.  Rub the lemon juice into your hands.  At first the lemon juice will feel sticky.  That’s ok.  Let the lemon juice dry naturally on your hands.  When your hands are dry, feel the skin on your hands.  Do your hands feel softer?

Now take the other lemon sections and squeeze the juice into a bowl.  Rub the lemon juice onto other dry skin areas, such as on your knees, on your elbows, on your feet.  When you take a shower, wash your whole body with lemon juice.  (Keep lemon juice out of your eyes.)  After washing your hair, squeeze lemon juice on your hair for a natural conditioner.  Your hair will feel squeaky clean and soft.

Dry the spiral lemon rind, and use for potpourri (a fragrant lemon smell).

Other Lemon Recipes:

Lemon Water:  Squeeze a lemon section into a glass of cold water, and drink.

Lemon Tea:  In the winter when it is cold, squeeze a lemon wedge into a hot cup of water.  Add a teaspoon of honey, and you will have a nice hot lemon tea drink.  This Lemon tea is soothing for a dry throat or a sore throat.

Lemonade:  Squeeze lemon sections into a glass of cold water.  Add a tablespoon of honey or sugar to taste.  Add ice cubes.

Lemon juice helps too purify and soften your skin.
