Cool and Refreshing Healthy Snacks!

If you are thirsty, drink a glass of water.  Drinking water is good for your health, energy and fitness.  How many glasses of water do you drink each day? 

If you want some quick energy before your workout and if you have sore muscles after your workout, eat a banana.  Bananas are high in potassium.  Research has proven that just 2 bananas a day provide enough energy for a 90 minute workout.

if you are hot and want something cold and sweet, freeze some seedless grapes.  When the grapes are frozen eat them for cool refreshing quick energy. 

If you want some protein energy, eat a handful of almonds.  10 almonds have more protein than 1 egg.  Almonds are good for your skin and for your heart.
